Saving Wildlife and Restoring Their Well-Being With Advanced Care

Founding Visionary

Late. Shri. Dhirubhai Ambani

Late. Shri. Dhirubhai Ambani transformed Jamnagar by establishing a refinery on once-barren land that had scarce drinking water. The land’s green cover significantly increased. His visionary efforts to preserve India’s natural heritage laid the foundation for Vantara. This legacy, carried forward by Shri. Mukesh Ambani, inspired Shri. Anant Ambani to create a place dedicated to conserving biodiversity and honouring wildlife.

Our Founder

Shri. Anant Mukesh Ambani

I see God in animals and Vantara is my temple. It is born from a belief that every being, no matter how big or small, deserves dignity, care, freedom, and a chance to heal and live. At Vantara, we are not just saving animals; we are healing ecosystems, restoring balance, and redefining coexistence for our future generations.

Founder of the Reliance Foundation

Smt. Nita Mukesh Ambani

Vantara is a testament to the deep compassion and commitment Anant always had for animals. He believed every animal deserves dignity, care, and a safe home. Like a modern-day Noah’s Ark, Vantara is a place for species on the brink of extinction. It has grown into a haven that saves, protects, and preserves wildlife that would otherwise be lost. It is not just a place - it is a promise to safeguard and care for the animals who need us most

elephant on rescue

Champa

Arriving in April 2021 with an injury, blindness in one eye, and severe arthritis, Champa, the elephant, received urgent care, including pain management, joint therapy, deworming, vaccinations, and a tailored diet.

Chottu and Chotti

Rescued from the dire conditions of a circus, Chottu, the hippo, found a new beginning, forming bonds and a family with Chotti.

Fareeda

Rescued with severe laminitis and hoof overgrowth, Fareeda, the okapi, couldn’t stand. Through gradual hoof trimming and expert care, we ensured her well-being, leading to a joyful surprise.

Gaston and Jasmin

Rescued from neglect and harsh environments, Gaston and Jasmin, the jaguars, now roam at their home at Vantara with grace and vitality, reclaiming their strength and spirit.

Muskaan and Rajni

Saved and nurtured, Muskaan and Rajni are majestic rhinos, now freely exploring a secure, natural environment - designed just for them.

Luna

Born into the exotic species industry, Luna was robbed of her natural life. This young lynx is now rediscovering her instincts and leading a life she was always meant to live.

Whitboy, Abhira, Crystal, and Tina

Victims of exploitative entertainment industries and poor conditions, we aimed to create a safe space for these distressed lions.

Zumi, Xena, Meena, and Montu

Zumi, a Tabi Tiger; Xena, a White Tiger; Meena, a Siberian Tiger; and Montu, a Royal Bengal Tiger, were born into captivity and spent years in confinement until a heartfelt decision changed their fate.
